We ate breakfast at Camp 18, an old logging camp turned into a restaurant. It was good food. We had an amazing cinnamon roll that was as big as a dinner plate.
Eva was in good spirits until we reached the beach. Then the scream-a-thon began and we didn't have anyone manning the phone lines to accept donations. Where were you Neil Patrick Harris?
This shipwreck is the Peter Iredale. It was four masted sail ship that ran aground on the Oregon coast during a storm in 1906. The ship was built partially from steel and partially from wood. The steel msections of the bow and the mast braces are still there sticking out of the sand.
Then we went to Astoria and walked along the docks and watched the ships and the sea lions.
And no trip to Astoria would be complete with going to see some landmarks from "The Goonies"
The Goondocks
The museum where the dad worked
The jail house where the Fratelli's staged their jailbreak
The sign on the path leading up to the goonies house.

Looks really cool! You guys are awesome for going on little trips like that with a new baby. I didn't leave the house for like 3 months.
Thanks for sharing.
We always say a new baby has so and so's eyes, so and so's hair, face, etc. But now we can compare bottoms. So whose got a bottom like that one? Hum? Confess it....
