Now that Eva can walk we were really excited to take her to the coast and let her run around and play on the beach and possibly even the waves, despite the water's frigid temperature. Eva loved being at the beach as much as we loved taking her there and she was not at all fazed by the cold water, she didn't even react when the first wave hit her other than to giggle and keep walking to deeper water. (She would have walked until it was over her head if we had let her) The day started off misty and overcast but still warm, then turned sunny and beautiful, and ended with a great sunset. It was a day of playing in the surf and sand, taking naps on the beach, eating a lot of ice cream and learning how to deal with poop in the swimsuit.
If you thought that they stopped selling candy cigarrettes then you need to get out to the Oregon coast and enjoy some minty menthol, "Just like Dad."
Eva spent a lot of the day pointing at the seagulls, yelling at the seagulls and chasing after any seagulls that landed near her.

Thank you so much. Every picture made me smile.
looks like so much fun! I hope you didn't let eva actually "smoke" those cigarettes because when she's Michael's age she'll be saying "I'm smoking a cigarettes...here's my cigarettes" just like Michael did a few weeks ago.
