Ayte munts 'nd all iz a whale!

Remember last month when we were so excited because Eva finally started falling asleep without crying? Remember those wonderful two weeks where she slept like a lamb for every nap and slept soundlessly at night? Well, in the words of Celine Dion, "those days are gone". Eva is a wonderful happy little girl, despite the refusal to sleep reunion tour, and she now has two teeth (on the bottom), and she is eating all kinds of mashed food.

She could probably crawl right now if she wanted to, but why use your energy when you have two perfectly good adults around to get everything for you.

She is finally getting some hair, and it is growing in a beautiful auburn color. She has recently learned how to "cluck" her tongue off of the top of her mouth and she likes clapping for herself.

She's officially 8 months old (hence the title of this post).  She weighs around 16 lbs and is about 27 inches long.  Since increasing solid intake this month her output has also followed suite.  We've gone through so many diapers and almost a whole case of Oxyclean. So far she enjoys the veggie puree over the fruit.  Those include peas and green beans (both disgusting).  Other things she loves: leaving the house.  She LOVES going anywhere that isn't home.  Katie and Eva have been going to story time at the library and Eva just sits and checks out the other babies and parents.  They also go on lots of walks and have plans to feed the ducks this week.
Each month gets better and better!  I love watching her grow and develop.
