Island Park, Idaho

Our car got run over by a truck.

So we got a rental car. It's a 2013 Ford Escape. So we decided to go on a little trip to Island Park, Idaho.
WHY there when you could drive to Vegas or Magna? A neighbor's daughter, Amy Heimbigner, is performing at the PineCone Dinner Theater in Island Park. So off we went.
We stayed in the a "rustic" cabin that was indeed rustic.

The dinner theater was fun. In the morning we discovered why we were so cold all night: there was not very much chinking between some of the logs in our log cabin. Notice the mighty fine, and only, art work on the walls.
We went fishing at Henry's Lake.

While we were fishing some cows licked our car on the hood and back window (hey, it's Idaho).
On the way home we took a scenic route and stopped at Upper Falls on Henry's Fork of the Snake River.

The Escape got better gas mileage at 80 mph than 65. Maybe the air is thinner in Idaho.
