Spent the day at Cannon Beach in some sort of symbolic goodbye to Oregon. It was like one of those cheesy pharmaceutical commercials where a smiling family runs in slow motion along a sun drenched beach while a voice over says, "Ask your doctor if your heart is Healthy enough for ___________. This drug has been known to cause horn head, Republican bladder and uncontrollable urges to urge."
The highlight of the day was digging a hole on the beach. We didn't plan on burying Eva in the hole, just put her in it for fun, but then she started pulling sand in on herself and laughing, saying "more sand, more sand."
I drew this giant turtle swimming through the cosmos with the sun on his back while Katie and Eva tried taking a nap on the beach.
Leesa and Penny, you guys should recognize the beach we went to, it is the same one we hiked to three years ago, Crescent beach.
The sunset was absolutely beautiful. It was a great day at the beach and a good way to say goodbye.
