Jake and I (along with Daniel's dog, Oliver went to Stansbury Island Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011. We had planned to take the ATVs but it was too cold so we went in my Jeep. There had been a ferocious wind storm in the Salt Lake area during the week with winds up to 100 mph. It blew out all the pollution and left us with incredibly blue skies. Stansbury Island sticks out into the Great Salt Lake on the south shore. Its about 10 miles long and 4 miles wide. It's stark beauty speaks for itself.
