The Starlight Parade

We had a dinner picnic along the Willamette river and then went downtown to watch the Starlight Parade, which is a knock off of the Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade with a few Portland touches, like an S&M float. We watched the parade from the fourth floor of a parking garage which is not as Four Stars luxury as it sounds but is still a pretty cool place to watch a parade.

The highlight of the evening was when the four square dancing float narrowly missed a run in with the 8:15 train to Gresham.

On our way home we got stuck in a very long traffic jam. See if you can spot the error in judgement in these two road signs, seen less than thirty feet apart on a three lane highway; "Right Lane Ends, Merge Left" and "Left Two Lanes End, Merge Right"

How long have you guys had that blanket Katie is sitting on in the first pic? I think it reminds you of your long lost days in Kearns Bennett.

We've had that blanket since we've been married and Bennett had it before we knew each other so in answer to your question, 6 weeks.
