Dang it Jessica!

Surprise! I have been tagged by Jessica Johnson. I'm supposed to list 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions, 3 facts about myself and tag 3 people by the end of my post by leaving their names, then let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

3 Joys

1. My classes in music therapy, they are really fun and interesting.

2. Bennett's singing. The Star Wars musical composed by him was a particular triumph.

3. Sewing, quilting, crafting

4. My family

3 fears
1. Grasshoppers; I'm afraid they'll jump on me and slice my throat open.

2. Asking store attendants (or strangers) for things, like where the Velveeta cheese is located or if I can borrow a cup of milk.

3. Being a bitter old hag. I think I have a tendancy to look at the negative side of things and I don't want to be that way. I want to be 100 years old and still happy. I want to look back at my life and remember more good things that happened than bad. I want to have a smile on my face while I'm dying.

3 goals

1. Become a licensed music therapist

2. Own my own home

3. Have kids someday. This is still 2 or more years away.

3 Obsessions

1. Cutting my split ends. I cut my hair short so I would stop looking for split ends.

2. Using correct grammar. I'm not perfect but I can't stand it when people use incorrect grammar on purpose, like not using a period at the end of a sentence or not using a complete sentence at all or not using the proper tense or correct verb/noun agreement or using a run on sentence about correct grammar that just keeps going and going. I find it obnoxious when people say, "I told him, I says..." or "She don't know nothin." Ah! It's doesn't! In my opinion using bad grammar is the first hint that I'm dumb- which I probably am. When I avoid bad grammar I think I'm not giving away that I am, in fact, really a dumb person. It's all about appearances here. Notice I didn't say anything about spelling.

3. Touching things other people touch. I don't hold the hymn book at church, I don't open doors unless it's absolutely necessary and if I do then I wash my hands right afterward. I have to have gloves to wash my dishes or clean the bathroom. That makes me sound like a germ-0-phobe but I'm really not. I just don't want to get sick and I can't stand touching dirty things that people made dirty.

3 facts about myself

1. I really like children's literature. I love reading and listening to children's books. My favorite children's book is probably something by E.B. White. He wrote Charlott's Web and The Trumpet of the Swan. I also like books by Eleanor Estes. She wrote The Moffat's and Ginger Pye.

2. I love bread (not the band but the food, sorry Christine!)

3. I'm in a super bad mood when Bennett wakes me up when I'm not ready to wake up. This mood is beyond reason. The house could be exploding and we have 2 seconds to get out but I would still be raunchy.
