Distance: 1.5 hours
Price: Gas and food
Things to do there: gaze at the tremendous beauty, hike, play on the beach (water is a tad bit too cold to go swimming in but getting your toes wet is fun), see the lighthouses, get some ice cream at Tillamook cheese factory. Even the drive out to the beach is spectacular.

There's tons of left-over yarn, fabric, rubber bands, paper, stickers, tubes, glass, metal parts, carpet... anything you can think of. They sell it at extremely cheap prices ($4 for a bag full of fabric remnants). The idea is that they recycle stuff so you can make art. I love this place.

Katie's Rating: 5 stars out of 5 (as you can see, Bennett and I see crap differently)
